We've known it was coming for a while, and now it's here! 100,000 LIKES on my Facebook page!

This is huge. This is momentous. But a little bit of a back story is required. Did you know that for five bucks on Fiverr.com you can buy Likes? Did you know that for ten bucks on Facebook you can also buy Likes? Did you know that there are (usually new) authors who spam other author's pages in hopes of getting more Likes? I've never done any of that. I didn't even hold a giveaway until after I hit the New York Times. Every single one of my Likes has been because of readers like you, who enjoyed my books so much that you wanted to interact with me, or you wished to stay updated on my upcoming projects. I'm proud of each and every one of my Likes because of what it represents. I can remember when I was excited about 500, and never dreamed in a 100,000 years that it would grow to six figures.

First of all, I want to thank all of you. Without you, my kids wouldn't know what it was like to watch our dreams come true. Without you, I wouldn't have met my bestest friends, like Jessica Park, Abbi Glines, and Colleen Hoover. Because, without you, I would be working at a hospital instead of at my dream job, and I would have never thought, "Well, they liked Providence, so I'll give them Beautiful Disaster to read." So, there wouldn't have been a Beautiful Disaster, either! Without such a supportive, loyal fan base, I would have never been able to go to BEA in New York City, and subsequently meet one of my favorite people and authors, Hugh Howey. I would have never been able to travel to UK to see my friend EL James. I would have never been cartoonized in the Wall Street Journal, or asked to The Walking Dead convention, The Walker Stalker Con. Everything I could have ever wanted, including owning my first home and hiring daily care for my grandfather who was just recently diagnosed with Alzheimer's, has all been possible because of you. So what I'm about to say is really pittance compared with what I owe to each and every one of you. You've changed my life, and this is just the beginning.

A little more than a month ago, I began preparing for my page to hit 100,000, and asked all of my author friends if they would like to participate. I happen to know some of The Best people in the industry, who also just happen to be incredibly talented writers. Every one of the following authors are celebrating with me, and I want to say THANK YOU to all of them! You will find their names below. Many of these authors have supported me time and time again, and it humbles me every time I see this kind of enthusiasm about fostering a positive community within this industry. There will be more names added to the list as more items come in!
