Erin was looking forward to her fresh start as soon as she finished high school and started college, but she never expected Weston, her forever crush, to have any kind of interest in her.

But Weston always noticed. Even when he was dating someone else and saw how Erin suffered from being bullied. One day he had enough and started sticking up for her.

A shocking tragedy rocks the tiny town, and Erin’s life is turned upside down in the best way possible. But when the truth is revealed and everything she thinks she wanted falls into her lap, life becomes more complicated.

Happenstances birthday is celebrated during a very important month. May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and as we all know, bullying is wrong, but what are we doing to stop it? Unfortunately, not everyone is as strong as Erin. Most people can be deeply affected but it can turn into a tragic ending.
