SOTI pt. II and Updates

We’ve had a lot of emails, messages, and comments lately about the new Providence series covers, SOTI pt. II, and what’s taking so long. I get it! I had hoped to have these complete and ready to ship after the New Year, but things don’t always go as planned.

The short answer is: I’m working on it.

The long, complicated answer is one I can’t completely share with you. But here’s what I can tell you:

Edits and finishing up The Edge of Us was more complicated than initially planned. Ongoing edits and conversations with the publisher put publishing behind schedule. Now that all of that is wrapped up,  I’ll have announcements regarding a release date and a cover reveal SOON!

What you also need to know is that I am a Mom first. I’ve gone through a huge personal change which has required me to show up for my kids in a bigger, different way. It’s taken some time away from writing and editing, but I wouldn’t change it for anything. Mom life is tough - but it’s the best life.

All of these setbacks mean I need more time. Now that TEOU is wrapping up, writing SOTI pt. II is my first priority. I promise it’s coming! I’m not rushing for the sake of getting books out. I want you all to have another quality McGuire book that will do Levi and Eden proud. If you’re anxious, spend this extra time re-reading the Providence series, yeah? Spend some time falling in love with Jared and the gang all over again.
